QR Code Resumes
QR code resumes are a planned future feature. The idea is to let users connect a printed resume, business card, job-fair handout, or networking document to a digital resume or profile page.
What this helps with
- •Job fairs
- •Networking events
- •Interviews
- •Trade events
- •Hiring events
- •Career-change outreach
- •Sharing a clean digital profile from a printed document
Who this is for
- Users who attend in-person hiring events
- Career changers who want a professional leave-behind
- Applicants who want to connect paper resumes to digital materials
- Users who eventually create an After Automotive digital profile page
What the output may include
- QR code linked to a digital profile
- QR code linked to a downloadable resume
- QR code linked to a selected career summary
- Privacy settings
- Share controls
- Ability to disable or update the linked page
Current status
Coming soon. This should not be launched as a functional feature until digital profiles, user accounts, privacy controls, and user-managed sharing are ready.
Important privacy note
A QR code can make information easy to share. Users must control what the QR code links to and should be able to update, disable, or delete the destination from their user profile.
Any future feature that stores resumes, profile information, saved recommendations, generated documents, or private career data will be placed behind a user profile and controlled at the user's discretion. Users should be able to decide what they save, edit, delete, or share. Public or shareable information should never be created without clear user action and consent.
After Automotive is a career-transition platform in development. Early tools are designed to provide guidance, structure, and direction. Results are not hiring decisions, certification decisions, or guarantees of employment.
